This has a thinner body than I expected and also not as much cherry flavour. There’s a good balance between sweet and sour but the cherries don’t come through enough to stand out. Quite disappointing.

Absolute banger of a beer. Complex, fruity, dark, delicious.
A collaboration between Edge and Belgian brewmaster Gunther Bensch, from BIIR.
Late Spring brings the first of the seasonal crop of cherries to Barcelona. So they heaped kilos of this into a strong Belgian tripel. The result is a gorgeous balance of sweet and sour cherries.
