Pine nut always sounded a bit odd, but in the end I went for it. Was kind of ok, but probably would not order again.

Deep burnt roast malts with a bit of a cola vibe, from a big herbal kick. Hints of molasses with a tinge of charcoal. Oily mouthfeel, with spruce in the finish & an edge of rosemary, which dominates the nose. Warming, but not as boozy as many 10.2% ABVers

Aroma of roasted malt and pine, aswell as sweet chocolate. Pours a deep black in the glass. This is a collab between Barcelona based Edge and Moscow based Zavod. The first taste you get is the sweetness of the pine sap, followed by the earthy bitter flavour of pine itself. It then moves onto a roasted coffee and chocolate bitterness and ends on the strange, but palette cleansing flavour of Rosemary. A unique and complex flavour combination, this one is for the more adventurous stout drinkers out there and will certainly put hairs on your chest.

Don’t think I’ve ever had a stout that had rosemary in it…and I’m still not completely sure if it works. Apart from that, a powerful and roasty imperial stout that I really should have kept until it was a little bit colder outside!

Just your average 10% stout with bits of pine tree & rosemary in it. Roasty, bitter & warming. Rosemary kick at the end is odd but good.

Roasty espresso coffee with a hint of dark chocolate. A fairly dry finish. Hides the ABV really well 🇪🇸

Well hello, this is a glorious Russian Imperial Stout! Impy stouts these days end up with loads of cakey flavours or high sugary sweetness. This doesn’t mess around with that. Its just a straightforward powerful stout! Big roasted malts, with some bitterness. Its smooth, and smokey, yet, with a little sweetness.
