Not had anything like this before, but I enjoyed it as something of a novelty. Will purchase again at some point!
Peter –
Peppery aroma with fresh lemon and ginger. Ginger flavour hits first with the lemon making it’s way through to provide the sour finish. Well made and different.
Jason –
Complex and interesting

Nice Berliner Weisse with lemon and ginger taste – couldn’t taste the pepper much though.

An aroma of lemon and ginger. Pours light, fizzy and dark gold in the glass. My 2nd pepper based beer in two days and a collaboration between Edge and Dugges. You get a light, tart lemon flavour and mellow ginger at the start. Towards the end theres a sherbet lemon sour burst that blends into the Szechuan, giving you an aromatic, floral finish. It’s abit like an alchoholic ginger beer with a South East Asian twist. I can see this going great with Thai/Chinese food. But it’s also light and refreshing by itself and perfect for a sunny day like today.
David –
Gingery, warm and sour. A really nice ‘bit of something different’. Tasty.
Ian –
Lovely flavoured sour with lemon, ginger & Szechuan pepper. Tart and zesty lemon flavour with a very subtle touch of heat and spice. Nice combination and well balanced.
G –
A good sour that actually tastes of ginger and pepper. A fine example of the Berliner Weisse. Would definately have this on my Christmas list.
Mark –
Maybe the best Berliner Weisse I’ve ever had, great flavours and amazing after taste.
Sean –
Generally sour/acidic lime and ginger notes, quite sparkling
Jon –
Gorgeous little beer.
Tony –
Wonderfully lemony with a nice pepper finish
Diana –
Sadly no punch this time.
Elisabeth –

Julian –
I had my reservations about this beer as I love lemon but am not a fan of ginger or pepper. However this works superbly. It does indeed give a delicious zesty lemon tang with subtle ginger and pepper after tones. I absolutely love it.
Rob –
Great fun the ginger and lemon acidity comes through but didn’t notice pepper notes
Brian –

Very prominent flavours, however unfortunately the szechuan pepper was missing completely from my palate.
Shame, as this could have really provided a unique quality to the beer.
Andrew –
I loved it (my friend didn't!) – so perhaps this one will divide opinion. I really enjoyed the heat of the ginger & szechuan, which complemented the sharp lemon brilliantly.
Kate –
Love this – very unusual taste, punchy, delicious!!
angus –
sharp, dry, slightly sour and very refreshing , with perfumed aftertaste and slight honey , though none in ingredients
