Aloysia citrodora is a species of flowering plant in the verbena family that’s native to western South America, and is commonly known as lemon verbena. It was brought to Europe by Spanish and Portuguese people in the 17th century and cultivated for its oil. Brewed in this pale ale, it helps to create a citrusy, juicy five-hopped beer that is unfiltered, unrefined and super refreshing.
