I was expecting too much from this, I think – it’s got a brilliant name and can design, and it just didn’t quite pack the resinous punch I was hoping for.

‘Tis a good old IPA. Smells like one, tastes like one, good strength. If IPA’ s your thing, What’s not to like.

This wasn’t as hop forward as I was expecting but had it toward the tail end of its best by date so could be they’d faded. Still really enjoyed the flavors – can’t go wrong with Duration.

A citrus and pine aroma. Pours a dark gold in the glass. Medium bodied, this starts on the flavour of pine with subtle resin notes in the background that give some sweetness. It finishes on bitter and malty orange rind flavour.
This IPA is lovingly brewed by the fantastic Duration.
This tasty brew comes in a 440ml can and is 6.7% ABV.
The good people at Duration say:
Dripping Pitch is a decades long experiment on the flow of a highly viscous liquid. Some would say IPA has also become a decades long experiment changing and flowing with our taste and location. This West Coast IPA is but one stop on the IPA trip, citrus, zest and resin usher in this crisp and bitter blast from Cali.
