Belgium makes some of the best ales. Seriously.

Dark amber Belgian. Typical of a Belgian ale, good flavour and pleasant drinking.

slightly fizzy, slightly sweet, but a nice beer

My first Belgian Ale. Pours slightly cloudy copper in colour with a small white head with lots of retention and lacing. Aroma of lightly roasted malts, grass, caramel and yeast. Taste is caramel malts, grain, a slight dark fruit note. Carbonation starts moderately high before easing but is a little off-puting. Body is light to medium and there is a mild bitterness in the finish. Interesting beer which I quite enjoyed without being wowed. I get the impression this is a lighter entry level beer to the style and in that sense it works.
