I was really looking forward to this stout but I was very disappointed. I could not taste the pistachio and the taste was as nice as I had expected. 🙁

One of the best stouts I've come across.

A sweet and nutty aroma. Pours black in the glass. Starts very sweet and sticky, with sour milky lactose in the background. On the finish you do have some dry and earthy nutty notes, but I'm not getting anything distinctive enough to be walnut or pistachio. I think that the icing sugar sweetness in there is just so intense that it takes over all the other flavours. A bit too sweet for me, but does hide the abv well.

Nice and creamy, very sweet and syrupy. It could be more pistachio though
Adam –
Great brewery, and this one was tasty but did become a little too sweet and heavy towards the end.
Rodders –
Wow, top bollock stuff. I can taste baklava straight away and it is superb.
brian –
Its aroma precedes it !
William –
Delicious, low on the pistachio, perhaps because walnut is quite powerful. If not for 9.5 would drink all day long
