This IPA is lovingly brewed by the fantastic Beavertown.
This tasty brew comes in a 330ml can and is 2.8% ABV.
The good people at Beavertown say:
Nanobot, our take on a low ABV IPA – a style we affectionately term the Super Session IPA! Brewed to a perfectly poised 2.8% the newest member of our core range gives you even greater choice without ever having to compromise on flavour. Ideal for a summertime afternoon session, a weeknight treat, or pretty much any other occasion you can think of, Nanobot provides all the hop forward flavour at a lower ABV.

Unfortunately it’s a no from me! Too watery and guess that’s down to the low %. Trust me Neck Oil and Gamma Ray are the Beavertown classics!
Sam –
Colin –
Alex –
A bit weak for my liking but overall its okay
ecartwright95 –
This was included in a mix case I received. Was not a fan of this one unfortunately. Tasted a bit like someone had added tonic water to an IPA, wasn’t for me.
Paul –
What’s not to like

Probably best drunk on a hot day near a barbecue rather than a cold day in February! Very hoppy nose but with a light flavour reminiscent of passionfruit.
Teresa –
light but great IPA flavours
Paul –
Ok

Can’t go wrong with Beavertown!
Steve –
OK, bit thin but expected due to low percentage.
Thomas –
Derek –
Didn’t do it for me I’m afraid
Claire –
Susan –
Wow light alcohol without a compromise on flavour. Very smooth drinkable ale. Cheers Beavertown.
Heather –
Perfect session ale! Like Neck Oil’s baby brother
Nick –
I’m a fan of Beavertown. Now, this is not one of their best but for a low ABV session IPA it’s a cracker
Tom –
Nice enough to drink, struggle with flavour depth in anything under 3%.
Tom –
Massively underwhelmed – and I say that as a big fan of table beers.
Aaron –
Good for a quiet night
Marc –
Wasn’t expecting it, and it may be due to the low ABV, but this tasted quite salty and a little chemically. Could be the batch but a surprisingly poor Beaverton beer – the only one I haven’t enjoyed!
Stuart –
Aidan –
Would happily drink it all day.
Ben –
Thin and disappointing.
William –
Liked this a lot more than I thought. Thought it was going to be a weak tasting neck oil. It wasn’t at all, full of flavour. Now for the inevitable “watering down” over the coming year that Beavertown seem to be so good at.. Ha.. So many friends agree Neck Oil used to look and taste completely different (much better), and they taste like lager recently in comparison to what else is out there. Hoping we don’t get this with Nanobot, will deffo be buying more in the next order, nice for a Monday/Tuesday beer.
Samuel –
Certainly a very good beer! Took a bit of getting used to, but I was very much enjoying it by the end!

Like the Beavertown ipa. Nice refreshing drink. We be good in the sunshineee
David –
Slightly weak flavoured as per low abv ales but not bad and better than most.
Joshua –
Brilliant beer, really tasty at such a low ABV!
Matthew –
Pale slightly hazy gold, small frothy head with minimal retention. Aroma does not pack a punch but I’m getting a bit of mango and tangerine. Taste has grapefruit and citrus but a little watery. A soft carbonation and low to moderate bitterness works well. Despite the light body the more I drank the more I enjoyed, it has a very pleasant mild citrus hoppy taste. Its a decent low alcohol option but there are better.
Gavin –
Joanne –
Nice and Light
James –
Considering the strength, a decent amount of flavour. Not going to win any awards but if you’re after something low ABV it’s not a bad shout.
Caroline –
Manages to pack in a lot of flavour despite the lower ABV.
Lee –
One of the better low ABV beers i’ve had… Has just enough flavour as an alternative if you need something less punchy….
G –
A good table beer, fruity and juicy
Callum –
Slightly disappointed, one of my favourite breweries but doesn’t live up to some of there other top notch outputs

Really solid low ABV beer. Recommend if you’re after something really light.

All the flavour of a standard IPA but doesn’t cause the dreaded beer headache afterwards!
James –
Super easy drinker.

Superb addition to the lower ABV range. Very drinkable and full of flavour!
Lucinda –
Rosie –
Another great one from beavertown
Simon –
KIERON –
James –
A lacklustre session IPA – the taste is thin and the beer has a weak, short lasting head. There is nothing distinctive to the flavour – as if it is trying to please every taste without satisfying anyone!
Andy –
Martin –
Nice beer, really sessionable. The trade off of low abv does make it lack it a little of punch you want in an IPA, but overall a nice session.
Ian –
Stuart –
Little bit too ‘watery’ for my taste, however very easy to drink along side food
Dale –
Hannah –
