Stunning
Nick –
This one smelt really nice but then on tasting the alcohol was a bit overpowering (not surprising – whilst advertised as 11%, the can actually said 12%).
Alastair –
Basqueland do IPAs very well, and they do stouts pretty damn well too! Didn’t taste like an 11%er which is always a bonus.
Gareth –
Aleem –
The adjuncts tasted too artificial
James –
Absolutely delicious
Tom –
Not my cup of tea, it was like trying to drink chocolate syrup
Barry –
After dinner dessert in a can. Not too sweet like some pastry stouts, this was just perfect although one was more than enough between 2
Ewelina –
Very chocolatey, but you can taste a bit of vanilla and cookies as well. Couldn’t taste any coconut though. Not too bitter and also not too sweet, good stout.
T1980 –
Very good pastry stout
Adam –
Struggled a bit with this one: even as a pastry stout, VERY sweet and sickly and probably too much for a 440ml can
John –
This was maybe just a little too much for me. Very sweet and syrupy as you’d expect. If you’re a true sweet stout fan, this will tick your box big style!
Steve –
Really nice
David –
Deep dark cocoa, coconut, vanilla and lactose. Smooth and creamy and actually 12%, not the 11% listed here. Lovely.
Adam –
Great example of the style. Need a bit more depth and sweetness to make it perfect.
Leon –
Clocking in at 12% (at least on my can), this is a beer not to be taken lightly. Heavy on the biscuit and coconut, it’s like a smorgasbord of sweetness. Highly highly recommend.
hariseldon38 –
Excellent beer all round
Sean –
Quite cookie/chocolatey alcoholic notes and slightly coconut
Emma –
Smooth, rich, like drinking liquid dessert.
James –
Got the can that says it is actually 12%. Very strong and really nice. You get all the flavours and i could only drink one of these. Dessert in a can!!
Martin –
Tom –
Another incredible collaboration brew from Basqueland
Adam –
Cracking stout. Loads of chocolate and vanilla with enough biscuit to justify the cookie theme.
Michael –
Love this – rich and full-flavoured. It’s the very definition of a dessert in a can…
David –
Lovely, bitter coffee with vanilla creamy lactose.
