Which idiot came up with the idea of pairing beer with dessert? Why not just make a beer that will be dessert in itself? Save yourself making the last course, and crack one of these open. Amundsen decided to pick out three of their favourite dessert flavours to include in their flagship imperial stout. Dark, sweet and delicious. This version brings back memories of marshmallow hot chocolate around a campfire. The dessert in a can series pairs best with a candle lit dinner while listening to Barry White.

Ok obviously when you see the phrase Marshmallow stout you know its going to have lactose! But this ones not overly sweet, the oats used add a good, full mouthfeel. Perhaps not one to quaff all night but a nice finisher.

Not Good at all for me. Way too sweet and strong

Rich, chocolatey, sweet with a hint of marshmallow, slight bitter roast notes and a decent whack of booze!

Too sweet for me.

Very sweet, nice marshmallowy taste. Taste very similar to aromas. Pours very dark, small brown head. Literally a dessert in a can.
Peter –

While this is a very well structured stout, I was disappointed with the lack of marshmallow flavour, if it is marshmallow you’re looking for Tiny Rebel are the boys.
